Small Shop, Big Vibes
It started with a single table made from 5/4 black walnut. It sat in Dylan's home for years until he wondered if it was good enough to sell. Tapia and Mark thought so — and liked it enough to commission more. Their trust was the instigating force that inspired Dylan to really explore the craft and start this business.
What began as a passion project in a garage became a full workshop in Anchorage. Every knot, every grain, every imperfection is a conversation — a story waiting to be told. Word spread quickly: there was someone who didn't just build furniture, he crafted heirlooms.
Today, Alaska Table Makers builds custom woodwork, handles furniture repair, creates metal fabrication, and offers something most Lower 48 retailers can't — premium pieces built and delivered locally, with materials you can see and choose yourself. No excessive shipping fees. No particle board. No compromises.
