Black Walnut
Callahan Construction Conference Table
Crafted from rich black walnut, this table measures an impressive 55 inches wide by 10 feet long — making it the largest piece we've built to date. The wood was sourced from Pennsylvania and began as two massive live edge slabs. We carefully broke them down into six sections, milled each one, and then seamlessly joined them back together. This build was no small feat — challenging from start to finish — but the end result speaks for itself.

Rachel's TV Lift Cabinet
Designed for someone who thinks TVs are hideous eyesores. Rachel's home had no natural spot for a TV, so we added hidden wheels — the cabinet lives in the hallway and rolls into the living room for movie night. The upper section includes a dedicated soundbar compartment. This design is all about utility and hidden features — and we think it's pretty beautiful, too.

Jordan & Melissa's Expanding Table
A 24″ leaf allows it to expand from a 54″ diameter to 78″ end to end. The design is clean and minimal, but don't let that simplicity fool you — the base is one of the most complex elements we've ever built. Precise angle changes and unique bevel cuts create square faces on each segment. It took many hours of design work — and a lot of math — to engineer a base that looks this simple.
Hickory
Teresa's Bookcase
A hickory bookcase built for a very strange and hard-to-fill cutout in the client's living room. The space is now beautifully filled and the lower section is the new home of the client's grandchildren's toys and books.

Covenant House Auction Table
This black walnut and maple table was made for Covenant House Alaska, donated to the auction of their annual Fire and Ice Ball to raise money for their cause. Covenant House is a local organization in Anchorage that provides services supporting homeless youth. Craftsmanship with purpose.

Custom Gaming Table
A custom gaming table with blue felt playing surface, maple wood rails with routed cup holders and card slots. The figured maple panels and solid steel leg integration show this table is built for serious game nights. Whether it's board games or poker, this table is the centerpiece of any game room.

Sculptural Steel Base Table
A large walnut dining table with a dramatic sculptural black metal pedestal base. The hourglass-shaped steel base is an engineering feat — artistic metal fabrication paired with a massive walnut slab. This piece showcases the intersection of our woodworking and metal fabrication capabilities.

Built-In Entryway & Bench
A full wall installation featuring a walnut bench seat with four drawer fronts, flanked by sage-green painted bookcase towers with dark stone countertops. Art and a picture light above complete the look. High-end custom built-in work that transforms the entire entryway.
Ash with Zebrawood
Ash & Zebrawood Expanding Table
Built out of curiosity and as a technical proof of concept — an expanding table with a leaf that stows under the surface using four heavy-duty drawer slides. Combining a lighter colored wood with high-detail dark wood yields a beautiful result.
Ash with Black Walnut & Steel
Hertha's Table & Benches
Made primarily with 8/4 ash lumber. The rail of the table is inlaid with black walnut, and the bases are made with 1.5″ square steel tube. The end customer is a woman of faith, so I honored her by shaping the legs into an Ichthys — the Jesus Fish — as it's more commonly known.
White Oak
James & Grace's Waterfall Benches
These three pieces integrate the waterfall effect with the grain flowing continuously from leg to leg through the bench top. We used a black dye to "black-out" the underside of each piece, adding style and uniqueness to the generally bland aesthetic of white oak.

Marie's Table
Made with 4/4 black walnut with maple accents. This table creates the illusion of a very thick table that is in reality less than an inch thick in most places. The rail under the top panel is only 3 inches wide. A lot of character comes from combining wood species, and it can be made at an affordable price point.

Tapia & Mark's Entryway
I'm forever grateful to Tapia and Mark. Their purchase of my first table and the trust they extended to me to build them more custom furniture is the instigating force that inspired me to really explore the craft of woodworking and to start this business. This entryway piece is one of several commissions they trusted me with.

A dining table in sapele with a distinctive multi-slat trestle base. The parallel vertical slat design is architecturally striking, and the well-figured wood top catches natural light beautifully. This table also features expansion capability for larger gatherings.

A built-in breakfast nook banquette bench custom fitted to a bay window. The U-shaped design maximizes seating in a cozy space, with smooth wood tops and well-fitted panel bases. Includes a matching round pedestal table.

A built-in bookcase and entertainment center with white-painted frame and a natural wood slab countertop as an accent. Sliding doors, open shelving, and well-proportioned divisions make this functional and beautiful.
